Japanese classes are offered by DSFL.
Japanese is the 9th most-spoken language worldwide, but it’s the third-largest language on the Internet, behind English and Spanish. Even though Japanese speakers represent less than 2% of the world population, they make up almost 10% of Internet users.
Japanese is one of the fastest spoken languages. According to a recent study, the speed (in syllables per second) of various languages was compared by having the native speakers of each language talk to each other. And Japanese left all other languages behind by scoring 7.84 syllables per second.
Japanese makes extensive use of honorifics, which involve adding suffixes to words in order to show various degrees of respect. Different honorific suffixes are used for peers, children, guests, elders, colleagues, teachers, and more!
Although Japanese is known to be one of the toughest languages, there are certain characteristics that make it a bit easier. There is no gender in Japanese which makes it less confusing than languages like French and Spanish. Also, there is no differential between singular and plural in Japanese.
And that’s just not all, there is no verb conjugation, no articles and it is not hard to learn to pronounce as there are only 48 sounds consisting of 5 vowels and 11 consonants.
