Jazz Dance Offered by The Performance Studio. Our Recreational Classes offer students a supportive and low-commitment way to experience and enjoy dance at TPS.

Suitable for Beginner to Intermediate Dancers, our recreational program is ideal for students looking for fun and fitness whilst still enjoying the premium quality training TPS has to offer.  For motivated and aspiring students there are opportunities to move into our Performer’s Program to further explore their potential.

  • Jess started dancing at the tender age of 3 and joined The Performance Studio in 2004 at the age of 7. She has remained a part of the TPS Family ever since! At The Performance Studio Jess took classes in Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Acting, TV & Camera and Private Singing. At the age of 13 she began assistant teaching with the Performance Studio and went on to become a tutor.  Jess loves getting the chance to share her knowledge with all the young budding performers at TPS. Over the years Jess has performed in many shows such as “Rock of Ages” (Lead – SYMT 2018), “The Producers” (Featured Ensemble – 2019), “Sweet Charity” (Dance Ensemble – WTC 2019), “Funny Girl” (Ensemble – T&C 2018), “Legally Blonde” (Dance Ensemble – SYMT 2016), “Spamalot” (Ensemble – SYMT 2017). She also has performed in “Candyman” with Wayne Scott Kermond, TPS 2012 and 2015 USA Tours, The Royal Easter Show, and many dance and singing eisteddfods over the years. When she is not teaching, Jess works at Tresillian as a Registered Child and Family Health Nurse. Jess has a strong passion for teaching children of all ages and loves helping them grow into confident performers by encouraging their love for dance and theatre.
