We’ve created set classes that consist of 2 different genres, Jazz and Ballet, that compliment one another whilst still allowing students variety within the one lesson and exposure to a diverse range of dance steps, styles, technique and music.
The foundations of Jazz and Ballet are similar, and are taught simultaneously in these combination classes. Students will learn age-appropriate dance terminology and correct technique, whilst still having the opportunity to explore movement through games and activities.
These are designed to afford students time to learn to understand how to express themselves through movement and refine their execution of a range of steps. But it’s not all serious hard work- we focus on making sure your child enjoys their class each week!
Our journey at Maxi-Jazz Dance Studio started with founder Maxine Johnson in 1987, orginally known as Maxi-Jazz School Of Dance.
Maxine created a studio culture full of love, support, amazing performance opportunities for all students and a leader in the dance industry for over 20 years.
We have learnt, grown and developed so much over the past 33 years and will continue to share our passion for the performing arts, lead the way in ‘doing things differently’ for dance studios, and empower students to become more than they ever imagined possible.
At MJDS we are continually working towards a studio environment that makes students feel included and everyone is welcome to express themselves through the are of dance. Our teacher celebrate achievements, respecting that each student learns in different ways.It is with your help that we create an inclusive studio full of Acceptance and ensure our students and families receive the best dance experience and education.

At Rainbow Bridge Education we offer a Jazz Dance Lessons. Smiling, caring and skilful teachers help you make the most of your learning. Learn in the new way and actually enjoy the knowledge and leaning with experienced teachers.
Classes are taught in a free syllabus style where students are taught the latest steps to popular music.
All Academy students are taught at least 1 style of jazz depending on their age & capabilities. Creative Dance Academy has a fantastic stretching method which instills a body awareness & safe dance practice in all its students.
A funky fresh modern pop dance style featuring all of your favourite dance tracks. Commonly you’ll find a mix of jazz, hip-hop, funk and electronic dance throughout the Street Jazz style. This class will get you shaking, shimmying and having a blast.
