DurationJazz dance is an ever-evolving dance form with deep roots from African slave dance up to 1930s New York society. Our talented jazz teachers will impart in your child technique and rhythm, as well as body isolations and step progressions to inspire their early love of jazz dance.

Our levelled system for Senior grades ensures the correct progression through skill sets with our entry level- Senior 3- being appropriate as an entry level class, Senior 2 building on technical elements and finally Senior 1 for our advanced pre-professional dancers approaching the end of high school.

We offer a range of classes across the disciplines of dance, singing, acting and musical instruments to allow children to develop a cross-section of talents.
Our classes can be taken in a recreational capacity for students who want a broad range of skills or at an exam level for those who wish to see how far their abilities can take them.
With a focus on being inclusive, diverse and fun, we provide children with regular opportunities to perform onstage and showcase their amazing talent. While providing top quality tuition is a priority for us, we also strive to create a safe and nurturing environment.
Classes are fun and get more challenging as the students progress. We work on routines that are showcased in the concert and regularly in community events.
You start with a Jazz warm-up, then kicks, jumps, turns & progressions down the hall & then learn a routine in the style of Commercial (like the video hits).
Jazz is one of our most popular classes – Weekly classes consist of warm up, corner work technique and learning a dance routine. Jazz classes commence when children start prep or aged 5 and over.
If your passionate about sharing both the love and discipline of dance whilst having fun, this class is for you.
These classes are for 8 years and up, it is also beneficial and highly recommended for students to be attending a ballet class or have a ballet background.
