Culture Shock® San Diego is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dance organization dedicated to innovative performance, artistic development and community outreach. Our dance classes at Culture Shock Training Academy lay the groundwork for further training on our youth and adult performance troupes.
This class will combine contemporary artistry with jazz athleticism. Class will include an energizing full body warm up, some across the floor/improv, and a longer center combination.
This class combines movements and rhythms of merengue, salsa, mambo, lambada, cha cha, and/or samba with traditional jazz dance technique.
Class begins with a structured, progressive warm-up that emphasizes technique and flexibility. Following warm-up, class moves into choreography that is dynamic and energized - be prepared to get moving, and to let that tension go!
Jazz II Dance Classes are offered by Pointe Flex Dance Studio. Pointe Flex Dance Studio is where students build friendships that last a lifetime.
Students ages 7 and up are invited to take a one hour Jazz technique class. Â Each class uses popular age-appropriate music, consists of a warm-up, stretching, isolations, strength and conditioning work, floor work, turns, leaps, jumps, through traveling exercises and combinations.
