This is available to all children and not just the current ballet students. Enrolment is now open – classes are strictly limited so please get in quickly.
The ballet school follows the Royal Academy of Dance graded and vocational exams. Students are encouraged to enter exams but it is not compulsory.
Pre-Primary to Grade 1 attend 1 class per week with additional lessons closer to the exam date. From Grade 2, students attend 2 classes per week.
Vocational & Higher Grade students are expected to attend at least 3 classes per week.
The School strives to provide pupils with self confidence, grace, co-ordination, musicality, discipline and an appreciation of the arts. Students are given the opportunity to perform at our annual dance production.
Jazz is a modern form of dance, which involves strong, sharp movements and lines.
Teachers will use their knowledge and technique to create exciting and dynamic combinations to really push the students.
L.O.D follows the American Jazz Dance Affiliation (AJDA) Jazz syllabus and offers classes for all ages and abilities.
Jazz is a class we hold only on a Saturday, we have classes for beg, Int and more advance jazz dancers.
