This is an intermediate level class recommended for students 8-11 years of age. At least 1 year of prior jazz training is required for this class. Dancers will learn terminology as well as developing individual and combined jazz steps and phrases.
Dress code for this class is a leotard, skirt or shorts in any color as well as hair being pulled back from face. Tights are recommended but not mandatory.
Our dance studio offers instruction in ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, tap and technique for all ages. Our caring instructors are experienced and highly qualified in various styles of dance. The founder of Studio Oak Cliff, Melissa Hunsaker, has been a dancer since fourth grade.

Dance students may wear black dance shorts or jazz pants over their uniforms. In addition, jazz shoes must be worn in jazz dance class, and tap shoes must be worn in tap dance class.Â
