Jazz also has its own movement vocabulary ranging from the isolation of certain body parts to the movement of the entire body with the accents of musical rhythms. Jazz dance can take on many different characteristics and styles, including Street Jazz, Percussive, Broadway, Contemporary and Lyrical.

This jazz class begins with an extended warm-up focusing on stretching, core strengthening, and upper body strength exercises. You'll go across the floor to fine tune your technique, and will break down the mechanical function of pirouettes, battements and other common dance moves
Jazz combines many styles and techniques from ethnic and contemporary dance, musical theater, swing, funk and ballet. Using a variety of music, students train in flexibility, rhythm, and control incorporating the basic principles of this dance style
This class focuses on body isolations, syncopated rhythms along with high level movements.
An upbeat, dance form derived from ballet and incorporating stretching, body isolations, leaps and turns. Jazz is a great class for increasing flexibility and building memory skills.
