In addition to regular classes, Studio J offers dedicated dancers the opportunity to participate in competition classes and workshops as part of the award winning Studio J Company. Jazz Dance Classes are offered by Kathy Marfin's Dance School. An upbeat technique class focusing on leaps, turns, traveling and transitions steps. *Ballet class will improve the development of the skills in this class.
Upbeat dance style using elements of ballet and modern influenced by rhythm & music. Lyrical and Contemporary is a fusion of ballet, jazz, and modern technique. These styles are incorporated into all Jazz classes.
