Our location consists of spacious lobbies, student study and break rooms and multiple dance studios. Each studio is comprised of free floating maple or marley flooring, wall-to-wall ballet barres, full length mirrors and state of the art sound systems.
The dance floors are designed specifically for the dancers protection to help prevent injury and/or future spine and joint problems. Studios are equipped with either closed circuit cameras with lobby monitors or full viewing windows.
Jazz is a fun and effervescent discipline that requires clean lines, passion and excellent technique. Well-known and diverse choreographers like Bob Fosse, Gus Giordano, Gene Kelly and Jerome Robbins have shaped this style over the decades to become a favorite of dancers and audiences alike.
Jazz Dance Classes are offered by CeCe Farha's Range of Motion Dance Studio? for teenagers of all skill level. Teen Level is developed for our recreational dancers and slightly older introductory dancers.
Our program focuses on classical jazz techniques, with a strong theatrical influence. Jazz creates a solid foundation from which dancers will grow in this uniquely American dance style.
Jazz reflects the energy in jazz and popular music where movements can be sharp or smooth, quick or slow, subtle or strongly angular. Jazz Dance trains the body to move one part of the body while the rest of the body stays still
This class is recommended for Int/Adv. dancers who have had prior experience. Class begins with a warm up to engage the joints and core muscles and increase flexibility.
