The next step up from beginner. Still applicable to beginner level dancers, occasional dancers, or dancers with little experience.
This level does offer an extra push, learning a bit more choreography/and or more detailed choreo in class at a quicker pace.
If you are feeling like Beginner classes are a bit easy for you, or just want to challenge yourself a bit more, these are the classes for you!

Classes are available for all levels and dancers will be placed at the correct level of ability. Catherine developed the syllabus for jazz and method of teaching herself!
Ages 7 to 10 years. Students are exposed to a diverse range of styles with an emphasis on proper warm up, alignment and conditioning. Students learn basic jazz dance steps and combinations.
This dance class allows you to learn either the "jazz" style or the "lyrical" style
Students will focus on movements such as leaps, jumps and flexibility. Students are required to wear a body suit or fitted top with spandex shorts, leggings or tights.
Particular emphasis is placed on jazz technique with instruction on strengthening and flexibility included. Students are prepared for examinations and competition participation (at teacher’s discretion).
