Although it includes all genres of “popular music” within South Korea, the term is often used in a narrower sense to describe a modern form of South Korean pop music drawing on a range of Western styles and genres, such as Western pop music, rock, jazz, hip-hop, R&B, reggae, electronica and techno.
For K-pop performing classes (kids, teens & adults), students will be taught various dance techniques and dance routine incorporated with group transformations.
They will also learn to enhance their performance qualities with further polishing of steps and expression. In our course, there will be a 15-minute warm-up at the beginning of each training session.
After warm-up, students will be taught a K-pop Dance routine by either the original K-pop artists or freestyle choreography by our instructors.
Established in 2005, Dancepointe Academy; Singapore Premier Dance Academy, has been providing invaluable dance education for dancers as young as 3 years old, through to professional levels such as Teachers and Company Dancers.

Under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Commonwealth Society of Teachers’ Dancing (CSTD) syllabi, Dancepointe offers comprehensive Classical Ballet classes in Singapore through a progressive curriculum designed for children of 3 years old through to Professional levels such as Performer and Teaching Career.
We also bring in other dance certifications such as the CSTD (Commonwealth), ATOD (Australia) & RSL (U.K) for our Jazz , Hip Hop and Contemporary courses, now under our other brand names 5th Avenue, Dance Factory and dACADEMY.
Students who attend the class can expect to learn a variety of KPOP vocabularies and possible variations of the same vocabularies.
K-Pop MV is a choreography-based class taught to popular Korean Pop music/videos. Inspired by the flashy costumes and cool accessories, K-Pop fans will love the catchy tunes accompanied with viral moves. Students will learn the MV choreography and will be taught how to execute them in class!
POP Dance aka MTV Dance will see you dancing to the choreography of the music videos of pop artistes like Ariana Grande and Bruno Mars!
