Every class begins with a 5 ~ 10 min warm up. The next 40 min, we focus on learning the choreography. In the last 10 min, we split up into groups to practice and film (filming is optional).

Level of the class depends on the choreography we are learning and can vary quite a bit.
Yunik (pronounced "yoo-neek") is a drop in Kpop Dance Studio located in Downtown Vancouver. We offer weekly Kpop dance classes for teens and adults! Most of our students are 15+ with 0-3 years of recreational dance experience.
We learn the same choreography that Kpop artists perform in their music videos and live stages, that way you can dance like your favorite K-Pop idol! In the past, we have learned choreography from well-known Kpop groups such as BTS, EXO, and Twice, to name just a few.
Starting with a warm-up and followed by a short choreography to various K-POP dances by your favourite artists. Students will learn basic techniques and choreography as each section of the dance is broken down.
K-Pop dance is inspired by the dance moves made famous in the music videos of Korea’s K-Pop stars like BTS, BLACKPINK, EXO, Twice, BtoB and PSY.
K Pop Dance classes are offered by DanceLife X Centre. One of the largest and most elegant dance facilities in downtown Toronto, the DanceLife X Centre was custom built to make you feel welcome and inspired.
K-POP dance, with “K” referring to Korean and “POP” to pop music, is a style of dance that has quickly amassed popularity in the recent years.
