Hey there, my name is AJ Crawshaw and I have been a successful musician and music teacher on the Kapiti Coast for twelve years.
Six years ago I opened a music school, which has been growing ever since, and our lessons now cover a growing range of instruments and styles. We are currently the largest provider of one on one lessons on the Kapiti Coast.
Currently we teach guitar, piano, keyboard, singing, drums, ukulele, bass guitar, flute, and band classes
Keyboard Course is Offered by Excite Music and Arts Academy.
The school provides Ministry of Education subsidised group music lessons for primary and intermediate age school students
Keyboard classes are offered by Mauao Performing Arts Centre. Education is provided by industry professionals that perform and play within the community.
Out of School Music classes are intended to give all primary school children the opportunity to learn a musical instrument.
The versatility of the piano makes it one of the most popular musical instruments. We use the piano in many different genres of music; classical, jazz, blues, traditional, contemporary and so on.Â
