It is important that the pupil is able to play an instrument between lessons either at home, school or other convenient location if progress is to be made. Nemco does not provide electric keyboards, amplifiers . School instruments are used during lessons.
Nemco was formed as an independent company in 1995 as a workers co operative. Since then, we have been providing school based instrumental music lessons, musical ensembles and performance opportunities throughout the region.
Our aim is to provide a quality music service at an affordable price and to engender an enthusiasm for music making through participation. We encourage pupils to achieve the highest possible standards. Many of our pupils have continued to make music both professionally and socially after leaving school.
Our Keyboard lessons are suitable for all skill levels and we have the necessary skills to offer both practical and theoretical tuition for all students from entry level to grade 8.
Keyboard lessons are available for children and adults from age five and above. Lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes in length and are offered on a one to one basis or as part of a small group.
Our keyboard lessons cover all aspects of playing. You can learn simply for fun, to support your education and we can also offer you industry training and contacts as part of your lessons to help you get started as a gigging musician.
Keyboard lessons are offered by Expression Music School for childerns. The teachings would be a mix of western and African musical lessons.
Specialist Keyboard lessons Birmingham are also available with a link to the recording studio. This involves lesson in programming, sequencing, MIDI, creating loops and samples and how to integrate that into a studio environment.
