The keyboard was developed in the early 1960's. It is one of the most popular instruments in the world and is widely used in pop and jazz music.
Pupils may start on electric keyboard from year 2. It may be more appropriate for lessons to be taken as a pair or individually but if resources allow, small group lessons are possible.
Our keyboard lessons cover all aspects of playing. You can learn simply for fun, to support your education and we can also offer you industry training and contacts as part of your lessons to help you get started as a gigging musician.
Keyboard lessons are offered by Expression Music School for childerns. The teachings would be a mix of western and African musical lessons.
