Youth ages 4-14 will come and create owls by hand and learn the basics of sewing. New classes start July 11, 2020 from 2-5pm and are on-going monthly classes. 4 classes are 3 hours each; total 12 hours of instruction.
Lovey's Sewing & Arts Collective (LSAC) was established in June of 2009. The founder Keiona Cook had a vision to bring back an abandoned essential skill (sewing) and other educational life tools she wished she was taught as a child. Keiona is an Alumni graduate of North High School.
Learning to sew can be fun! You can get your first sewing class. Or give as a gift!
This is an all levels class. Take some time off from home and join us with your pre-crawler baby and learn or practice your sewing skills. We will be making cute clothes and accessories for your baby. Beginners and All levels in machine sewing are welcome to join.
efugee and immigrant women come to an intensive once a week sewing training class where they learn sewing and business skills as well as build community, connections, and friendships.
This class is to help you get comfortable with your new Bernina machine. We will discuss basic machine operations, many of the features of the machine, and maintaining it.
In this class we will show you how to use your sewing machine in a more proficient manor. You will sew using all functions and attachments with your machine, and learn some new techniques. Also we will demonstrate how to maintain (not service or repair) a proper working machine
