Lovey's Sewing & Arts Collective (LSAC) was established in June of 2009. The founder Keiona Cook had a vision to bring back an abandoned essential skill (sewing) and other educational life tools she wished she was taught as a child. Keiona is an Alumni graduate of North High School.
The first class will be focused on how to thread the sewing machine, how the machine works and in the process you will complete a small purse, that has a zipper and a loop strap
Youth ages 4-14 will come and create owls by hand and learn the basics of sewing.
