Tired of kids complaining about what’s for dinner? Let’s get them in the kitchen! Lord Roberts Community Centre’s very own General Manager, Jess, will be running a kids cooking club starting May 28.
Cooking lessons will focus on easy, fun kid-friendly recipes. Students become masters of the kitchen as they learn about kitchen safety, ingredient preparation, nutrition and how to use kitchen tools. Each week students will prepare a tasty meal to enjoy with their class mates.

Come learn how to cook.
In our free Kids in the Kitchen classes, your kids can cook up a storm, make a mess and learn how to clean it up! Taught by our in-house chef, these classes are a great way to get your kids into the kitchen
The young cooks also have the opportunity to join in our actions fighting food insecurity through a concrete action- preparing meals for community organizations!
Little Baker is an interactive workshop for kids of all ages to learn and engage in the Hazukido decorating experience. Kids are able to decorate their own croissant or croffle with guidance from our experienced Hazukido bakers.
Teaching children and adults alike about food is a passion of Cheryl’s, and one she shares as the creator of Nourish Eatery in Sechelt.
