Kids Let's Get Quilting Summer Camp

Movies are so much better with a quilt to snuggle up with! During this week of camp, children will create a lap quilt approximately 32" x50" - large enough to cover your legs while watching a movie but small enough to fit in a tote bag to carry to the movie theater. Campers will select their fabrics, piece the quilt top, and sew together with a wonderfully soft cuddle backing. Project supplies and snacks are included in the camp.

In this camp, children will select complimentary fabrics, how to cut fabric, piece the quilt, and basic machine quilting to quilt their piece with cuddle fabric, and apply a binding to a small quilt.

Campers can use a classroom machine, bring their own machine from home or purchase a new sewing machine from us. If you purchase a Baby Lock sewing machine from us, we will have it ready on the first day of camp for exclusive use all week.

By the end of the week, they will take home their very own quilt! Each camp will follow the same format but it can be repeated easily since fabrics can change for each quilt. All supplies are included in the cost.
