How it Works:
Guests will be provided with a large piece of canvas or paper, charcoal, and chalk pastels. They will be led through a meditation followed by 30-45 minutes of body movement drawing.
Please dress for lots of mess! Black or dark comfortable clothes highly encouraged as you will be working on the floor and using your entire body to create.
Artwork can be rolled up and taken home immediately after class. Space is extremely limited so early registration is encouraged!

We will explore in depth ways to achieve layouts as well as backgound paintings. We will develop a finished portfolio 4-8 final keyshots, Isometric top down location drawings, Prop pages, and Environment pages.
painting course is offered by Manny Cantor Center. Courses are available for all levels and include instructor demonstrations on specific techniques, guided group lessons, and one-on-one guidance from our instructors.
The artist’s most difficult task is to convey the moment in motion, so when it comes to human figures, we need to understand basic human anatomy and structure.
Students learn drawing techniques in many different mediums. These include but are not limited to pencil, charcoal, chalk and conte crayons on a variety of paper types.
