Welcome back to crochet! Whether you learned recently or when you were younger, this course is for you. We will go over the basics to re-learn or refresh foundational skills. If you have never picked up a crochet hook before, please take Level 0.
Learn surface design techniques of collage, assemblage, drawing, dyeing, image transfers, rubbings, stencilling, frottage. Learn the art of weaving traditional fibres and expand your material knowledge of what can be made into woven art.
This class is for anyone who is interested in learning how to crochet. You will learn how to start almost any project as well as three essential stitches. At the end of the class you will have a handmade dishcloth.
Wool N' Things was opened by Gisele Goulet in October 2004. Gisele knit her first pair of mittens back in Grade 7 during what used to be called "Home Economics" class, in the all-girl school she attended at the time.
This is the class for you if you have never knit before and are looking to dip your toe into the knitting world. Warning: It can be addictive. Let us guide you through the steps of knitting, purling and other knitting skills and after 3 weeks time you will have your own handmade cowl!
