Levels in Korean Courses

Level A1 & A2

In this levels introductions of the korean languages & use of familiar everyday expressions & very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of need a of a concrete type. In this course he/she can introduce him/herself & other and can ask questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he /she knows and things he/she can do. They can interact in a very simple way provided the other personal talks slowly & clearly & is prepared to help.

They can communicate in simple & routine task requiring a simple & direct exchange of information on familiar & routine matters. can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment & matters in areas of immediate need.

Level B1 & B2

This level for those whose have completed Level A1 & A2 for the korean classes. In this level he/she can learn to understand the main ideas of the complex text on both concrete & abstract topics including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization.

can interact with a degree of fluency & spontaneity that makes regular interaction with the native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. They can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects & explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages & disadvantages of various options.

This is the advanced level & in this level he/she can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts & recognize implicit meaning. Can express him/himself fluently & spontaneously without much obvious searching for expression. can use language flexibly& effectively for social, academic & professional purpose.

can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors & cohesive devices.

They can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read. Can summarize information from different spoken & written sources, reconstructing arguments & accounts in a coherent presentation. Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently & precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations.
