ALD has a fully functioning hair, beauty and baring salon/academy offering free/funded training as well as bespoke training for pre 16 Alternative provision, FREE 16-19 Study Programme, 19+ Adult Learning, Online Training, Summer club activity training as well as bespoke programmes.
All staff have over 30 years experience in teaching and their vocational area and fully support all students. VTCT & ABT accredited courses are available on completion of the courses.
The VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies is a substantial vocational qualification for learners seeking a career as an employed and/or self-employed beauty therapist.
This course will provide learners with the theoretical knowledge and understanding of beauty therapy at level 2 and 3 and provide the necessary skills and practice to be industry ready by the end of the course.
This is a course beginners course. We will cover, Full anatomy and Physiology, Best Practise, Hygience and Cleanliness, Current Regulations, Marketing your services, and Treatment Procedure.
This ITEC aligned qualification is the ideal accompaniment to the 80646 course curriculum or the equivalent thereof.
