Experience the food and culture of Malaysia! Malaysian food is heavily influenced by Chinese, Indonesian and Indian cuisine and features exquisite and fragrant spices to create truly unforgettable dishes like Malaysian curry puffs, Nasi Lemak, Chicken Rendang and Onde Onde.
Malaysian food is a combination of a variety of cuisines, mainly Malay, Chinese, Indian and Nyonya. Come along and explore these cuisines with Maria preparing dishes like Laksa, Nasi Goreng, Gado Gado and Sago Pudding. Participants will receive samples throughout the session.
Chef Wanitha Tanasingam brings you her spice infused amazing Malaysian cooking. Wanitha alone is worth the class fee as she will teach you how to make some of the great and easy "hawker style" dishes from her native land.
The Malaysian Banquet has your senses popping with fragrant smells which will leave your taste buds watering for more. This 4 course meal is a true example of authentic Malaysian food from starters, soup, mains and dessert.
