To explore your capacity as a leader.

Learning Outcomes

  • Explored collective and compassionate leadership in nursing or midwifery.

  • Analysed personal strengths, limitations, opportunities and threats in developing capacity as a leader in nursing or midwifery.

  • Reflected on prior experience(s) to explore leadership capacity and strategies to enhance performance in preparation for a nursing/ midwifery leadership role.

  • In line with the Nursing and Midwifery Task force, ‘COLLECTIVE LEADERSHIP FRAMEWORK’ (NIPEC 2024), recognised their capacity for nursing/ midwifery leadership, and develop a personal action plan for the next step(s) in their leadership journey.
