City of Sydney Basketball Association’s (CSBA) Learn to Play classes are designed for 5 – 12-year-olds in a fun and inclusive basketball environment for children of all abilities.
This 9 week program is designed to learn the fundamental skills of basketball through warm-up games, skill activities and modified game play, all delivered by CSBA accredited coaches, with the aim to prepare your child for competitions.

The City of Sydney Basketball Association is a non for profit community organisation focused on developing the game of basketball in the area. Players are drawn from a wide geographical area from the eastern and south eastern suburbs, inner city and the inner west.
Our sports programme sees students take part in friendly competition and for those that excel in their chosen sport, there are representative opportunities up to the international level.
Our Level 1 program is the perfect starting point for players who have never played before. The primary focus is for kids to learn the fundamentals of Basketball whilst having fun; so games are incorporated into each weeks activities.
 The first step in a little baller's journey. Boys and Girls of all ages are welcome to come along and learn all of the fundamentals of basketball including dribbling, passing, positioning, rebounding, defending and of course shooting!
Shoot for the stars with one of our great school term length training courses. With teams to suit every child and family lifestyle, joining the Rising Stars family means meeting a fun, active and rewarding community.
The Rising Stars Program is the perfect program for boys and girls who want to further develop their basketball skills and prepare for competition.
