The Learning Curve Group Hair & Beauty Academy is a dynamic and innovative vocational training organisation that specialises in high quality hairdressing and barbering training at one of our state of the art hairdressing academies in Borehamwood, Camden, Chiswick, Loughton and Croydon. 

With our Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing, you will achieve your qualification attending our academy 2 days a week for six months. Our adult courses are perfect if you're looking to launch your career as a hairdresser, with no experience necessary.

Each of our Academies is equipped with a state of the art training hairdressing and barbering salon and we offer training that is designed to deliver a real work based experience. Our technical training team are all professional teaching staff from within the industry to ensure that the training reflects current trends and meets the needs of hairdressing salons and barber shops.

Course Details:

This is a 6 month programme at one of our 6 academies, where you will come in 2 days a week, either in the day, evenings or weekend.

This qualification is based on the national occupational standards for hairdressing and it will be packed with all the exciting practical skills and knowledge you require to learn how to cut, colour and style hair. You will be provided with a personal Tutor who will take you through your learning journey.

You will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety. You will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to advise and consult with clients and then provide a complete hairdressing service which includes, shampooing and conditioning, colouring, cutting and setting and dressing, and styling and finishing hair. You will also learn to develop communication and customer service skills, as well as become aware of environmental sustainability and commercial skills. Problem solving and research skills will also be developed.

On completion of your level 2 you will have the opportunity to progress through to your level 3 where you will learn a range of new skills.
