Through a mix of hands-on practical sessions and theory-based study, you will learn about the key methods, materials, processes and principles used in plumbing. You will be taught essential topics such as how to install non-complex plumbing systems and components; how and when to apply copper, steel, or plastic piping; domestic hot water systems, central heating, sanitation, and drainage systems.
More than just developing your practical and technical skills, this course will also teach you the fundamental electrical and scientific principles of plumbing and engineering, improve your on-site communication, and show you how to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

What do you need to apply?
5 GCSE qualifications at grades A*-D or 9-3, including English and Maths at Grade 4 or above
How will you be assessed?
To gain this qualification, candidates must successfully achieve the following assessments: Theory and practical assessments, Synoptic Assessment, externally marked exam.
