Course Details

Health and Safety law requires that employers provide a safe and healthy workplace for employees to work in. One critical part of this is ensuring you have staff trained as qualified first aiders through a regulated course. This regulated qualification will provide you with suitable, highly trained personnel and satisfies the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) code of practice.

The First Aid at Work qualification (FAW) is the highest first aid qualification you can receive in the workplace. This course is compliant with up-to-date HSE guidelines and meets the requirements of the FAA awarding body and Ofqual as part of the FAA Level 3 (level 6 in Scotland) RQF/SCQF.

Individuals will receive a regulated certificate which is valid for three years. This comprehensive course includes theory and in-depth scenario training for various workplace first aid incidents. After completing this course, the learner will be provided with the skills they require to provide prompt, safe and effective first aid in an emergency.

This course enables an employer to meet their statutory requirements outlined in the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
