Level 3 Principles In Cosmetic Practice

The CIBTAC Level 3 Principles in Cosmetic Practice provides Learners with the knowledge and skills to carry out the recognised manual facial skincare treatments in today’s market.

It is aimed at equipping therapists with skills required for work in salons, destination/day spas and cruise ships.  The units have been identified by employers as the most appropriate for working as a beauty therapist and going on to work as an aesthetic beauty practitioner.

Course is delivered through theory, autonomous learning and practical sessions.  Portfolio consists of : Project work, thorough Skin Analysis observation and a final exam, (approx. 8 weeks after training commences).

This Level 3 principles in cosmetic practice course is designed for anyone with a Level 2 Facial Qualification looking to progress on to advance Facial treatments, giving them the pre-requirement to progress with training in the likes of Dermaplaning, Chemical Peels, Electrical Facials or Mesotherapy.

Course Description

CIBTAC Level 3 principles in cosmetic practice provides knowledge and practical competence in health & safety within the salon and facial skincare. This course  has been regulated by OFQUAL and the strategy for delivery of the units that make up the course is based upon a combination of online theory, and autonomous learning, workshops and practical sessions. This is delivered over 5 sessions.  The final stage is an assessment which is submitted to CIBTAC and finally your certificate will be issued.
