Get your creative juices flowing with our supportive life drawing classes, headed by local artist and web designer Mel Bedggood.
Whether you're a beginner or a professional, our sessions cater for all. No experience is necessary. You will work with and draw from professional models, including short warm-up poses leading to longer poses.
You can decide if you would like some guidance or not, as everyone has different skill ranges and abilities.
We supply all equipment and materials paper, pencils, erasers, charcoal and more) but you may like to bring your favourite materials to use. Tea and all materials provided. BYO alcoholic drinks.
Please Note:
Please show up 15 minutes before your session to make sure you get ready in time. We lock the door strictly at class time to respect our models. Walk-ins are welcome before the time of class.

This introductory class is the perfect platform to explore the human form through life drawing. A judgement-free space where questions are welcome, we’ll walk you through a simple step-by-step process for depicting the human figure on paper.
Every single person has the ability to create art and under the guidance of a skilled and attentive teacher, your talent can flourish.
Within a calendar year activities will include drawing, mixed media, painting, and construction.
First, you’ll learn about sketching basics and simplifying objects, learning to view them clearly in their essential parts. Then we’ll move through shading techniques to create dimension and proportions.
