Lifting Equipment In The Working Place

This unit standard requires of learners to demonstrate the ability to monitor, report and advise on compliance with legislation regarding lifting equipment. 

Outcomes:

• Report and advise on the maintenance and safe handling of lifting equipment in a workplace in accordance with specified requirements. 
• Describe the specified requirements pertaining to the construction, safe working loads and application of lifting equipment in a workplace.                                                        
• Demonstrate knowledge pertaining to the examination and records of lifting equipment in a workplace.
