Lyrical dance combines ballet technique with the freedom of jazz and contemporary dance. Our classes place an emphasis on balance, extension and control while using the body to express emotion. Background in ballet or jazz is recommended.
Lyrical (Ages 10+) dance classes are offered by Dance Plus EP. At Dance Plus we strive to keep a fun and encouraging atmosphere where students can become the best dancers they can be.
Dancers can learn a jazz, ballet, tap, pointe, lyrical, or contemporary solo or duet. Classes include choreography and 10 half-hour private sessions with the choreographer.
The modern/lyrical program at Dance Steps is for students 11 years and older with a minimum of 3 years dance training (or at the Intermediate Foundations level of ballet).
