Thrive Dance SK offers competitive & recreational dance classes available ranging from 2-years old to adult (all ages) for a beginner to an experienced dancer to learn dance instruction.
We are always looking to welcome new individuals to our dance school who are looking to explore the art of dance and pursue their passion to dance.Within our dance programs, dancers have the option to compete with their dance performances choreographed by our Dance Instructors.
Every Dance Teacher puts their entire heart and soul into their choreography and each week’s dance class. Our school of dance holds a final year-end rehearsal and recital/dance performance for all family and friends to attend.
Lyrical dance is the fusion of ballet and jazz technique. Expression from the inner emotion is a primary factor in choreographing and interpreting this art form.
Lyrical these dance classes combine ballet and jazz techniques with emotion and acting to convey what the music is saying through movement. Get ready to dig deep and allow your body to be one with the music in this class. Truly beautiful!
A small portion of this class will involve important stretching components to improve flexibility. Every dancer must have a solid dance base for this class and are encouraged to take jazz or ballet as well. Dancers will be placed at the teacher’s discretion.
Students are encouraged to create an emotional connection from body to song as the more advanced dancer progresses.
Lyrical is a fusion of ballet & jazz technique. Dancers use fluid, continuous & graceful motion to tell a story & express feelings conveyed through a songs' lyrics.
