Welcome to Dancefit Canada, where the dancer and athlete meet. We are so excited to welcome everyone back to share the dance floor for Fall 2021 as we embark on our 11th year teaching dance and fitness to those as young as three and as youthful as 93!. We offer both recreational and competitive dance, cultivating creativity in all our dancers in a safe, healthy and positive environment.

These classes involve both Lyrical and Modern styles of dance and movement. These styles are based on expressing ones self through dance, movement, gesture, and mime the lyrics and or feeling of the music.
This class embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics and modern dance with the music and lyrics inspiring the movements of the dancer and choreography. Dancers will focus on jumps, turns and many other technical skills while also learning the art of dance improvisation!
Lyrical is a mix of ballet and jazz techniques, with an emphasis on bringing the lyrics of the music to life. A strong technical foundation is needed to navigate this distinct style.
A combination of Jazz, Ballet, and Modern dance. Dancers will learn how to express emotions and interpretation of the music, while developing their technique.
While sharp movements can be integrated for emphasis, one of the most prevalent qualities of lyrical dance is the continuation of movement, with sequences flowing very naturally and smoothly into each other, with little or no stopping or moments of stillness.Â
