Each class at HYPE DANZ begins with a warmup to prepare the body for movement and help prevent injuries.
All instructors are mUvmethod certified and will take the class through age appropriate and safe stretching to improve flexibility and mobility. Various strengthening exercises are then performed during the warmup to increase strength and control.

Lyrical dance is the fusion of ballet and jazz technique. Expression from the inner emotion is a primary factor in choreographing and interpreting this art form.
While sharp movements can be integrated for emphasis, one of the most prevalent qualities of lyrical dance is the continuation of movement, with sequences flowing very naturally and smoothly into each other, with little or no stopping or moments of stillness.
Dancers can learn a jazz, ballet, tap, pointe, lyrical, or contemporary solo or duet. Classes include choreography and 10 half-hour private sessions with the choreographer.
Lyrical dance classes are offered by Dance London. Lyrical dance is a merging of ballet and jazz styles, using music with lyrics that inspire the choreographer/dancer to interpret the emotions of the song.
Dancers will develop their strength, flexibility, control, technique and emotion to create a routine that is expressive of a story. Classes run all dance year for 45 minutes a week, with a year-end recital routine.
