Description

Did you know that tapping in to your creative energy can improve your overall health and well being?  It is well recognised that creative engagement can decrease anxiety, stress, and other mental health issues.

MakerSpace & co thinks that we all could do with a bit of a well being boost. We've all been affected by what's been happening over the last two years; it's been tough.

This is why MakerSpace & co is introducing a series of free creative workshops, in partnership with Inner West Council, that focus on mindful making, artistic self expression and building social connections.

Think of it as a creative tonic to pick you up. Working with qualified art therapists, our Maker Therapy series is an opportunity for you to take a breath, practice some self care and get to meet other people in a safe and inclusive space.

You'll get the opportunity to try activities that will stimulate your creative energy, and get lost in the flow of making, without the pressure of being outcome focused.  It is all about immersing yourself in the play, rather than focusing on the end result.
