As making sourdough bread is a process that takes several days, Karin will bring batches of dough in all their different stages to the class for you to see and understand. At the various stages, the doughs require stirring, kneading or forming into rolls, and you will be asked to assist with this if you're willing.
Sourdough breads mature after baking and taste great even after a week.
Selwyn Community Education is a community education centre based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland. Each year we offer a wide range of more than 750 evening and weekend courses, plus some daytime English for Migrants courses.

In this class you’ll learn how to make this delicious and nutritious sourdough bread with my help. I will guide you through the entire bread-making process, from mixing and streching the dough to shaping, scoring and baking the bread.
