Course Background
All companies using scaffold have a duty to ensure that it is erected, used and inspected in accordance with the statutory requirements and current best practice at all times.
This two-day course will give delegates the knowledge and ability to manage all scaffold types and inspect TG20:21 compliant tube and fitting scaffold.

Day 1 - Managing Scaffold Activities
Day 2 - Scaffold Inspection - Tube and Fitting
In order to comply with the Work at Height Regulations 2005, all scaffolds are to be inspected every seven days at a minimum (or following exposure to conditions likely to have affected its strength or stability or after any significant alterations have been made) and the inspection recorded. The course will involve an introduction to:
NOTE: Day 2 covers specifically Tube and Fitting Scaffold, it does not cover the use of System Scaffolds.
Training Certification and Assessment
Delegates will be assessed by their input to group exercises, as well as through an assessment. SSG course attendance certificates will be issued on successful completion of training and are valid for three years. Certificates will require renewal prior to the expiration date.
