This short course is designed for people to gain an understanding of what confined spaces are and the obligations required of employers to manage work that is conducted in or around confined spaces.
This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to work safely on construction sites where the work activity involves working above 1.5 metres from ground level and where fall protection measures are required.
This nationally recognised training is offered by, or on behalf of Safety Corp Pty Ltd (RTO 91694). Training, assessment, and related educational and support services may be provided by an authorised third party training provider.
The program utilises Electronic Gas Detectors (Microclip X3 Multi Gas Detectors) to identify toxins or low oxygenated environments.
Emergency Response Team (ERT) Training - Where a specialist ERT has been deemed necessary, training specific to the emergencies identified in the emergency plan shall be developed and carried out.
