Introduction

China is the most populous country in the world and has the second largest land area. Its cultural influence is felt throughout the Asian region and has impacted the world on a large scale through the arts, sciences, cuisine, production and trade. Mandarin Chinese is the official language.

The larger industries include iron and steel, coal, machine building, armaments, textiles and apparel, petroleum, footwear, toys, food processing, automobiles, and consumer electronics. Metallurgy and machine building have received top priority in recent years and account for about one-third of industrial output. Hong Kong, with a fully capitalist economy, developed under British rule into an international financial Center.

 

Scope

Rather than choosing any random or fancy foreign language, why not go for Mandarin / Chinese language. You know, it is the world’s most spoken language, followed by English, German and French. China and India have become even educational partners since 2006 and signed the Education Exchange Program (EEP) in which children will be allowed to study in both countries and be awarded scholarships.

It is open to foreign students, overseas Chinese, and members of ethnic minority groups in China, and provides the global standard for Chinese language proficiency from beginner to advanced level.
