The program instructs the student in the state laws and provides the foundation and skills necessary to become a Certified Nail Technology Specialist.
The 240 hour Manicure course teaches theory and practical skills in all phases of manicuring. The program prepares the student with the basic foundation necessary in sterilization and sanitation, manipulative skills, safety judgment, proper work habits, business skills, professional ethics, applying to state board for licensing, continue education requirements. Upon completion of the manicuring program, the student will receive a diploma and be prepared to obtain entry-level employment as a Nail Technology Specialist.

To educate a theory of manicuring and pedicuring, artificial nails, cleaning, shaping and polishing of nails, leaning and disinfecting of individual work station, diseases and disorders of the nails, safety, and first aid.
Nail course is offered by New York Institute of Beauty. At New York Institute of Beauty our New York State-approved courses in Esthetics (Skin Care & Makeup), Nail Specialty and Waxing are taught by Licensed professionals.
We designed our program around the Milady curriculum to teach students the most current nail technology practices while still meeting state requirements. Our curriculum is taught by experienced instructors.
