The primary purpose of the Nail Technician Course is to train the student in the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to pass the State Board examination and for competency in job entry-level position as a nail technician .
The course study includes understanding theory and obtaining experience through practice in the many hands-on activities. It involves essential topics for nail care (both manicures and pedicures) and how to use crucial products and equipment in the profession.
According to the Colorado State Barber and Cosmetology Act: “Manicuring” means any one act or practice, or combination of acts or practices, when done for direct or indirect payment of when done without payment for to public generally.
Our nail technician course is 600 state regulated clock hours. This course includes instruction in both theory and practical experience.
