MAGD Program Overview
Full-time students complete this degree program in as little as three academic semesters. Students that require leveling coursework complete this degree program in as little as four academic semesters. Please contact the Graduate Program Director for additional information about program timelines.

The Georgia State University Design M.F.A. program is for focused, motivated, experienced designers who want to introduce a multidisciplinary perspective to their work by collaborating with graphic designers, interior designers, fine artists, art historians and those from other related disciplines.
Our design graduate program focuses on the study of relationships between humans and their designed objects and environments. Students applying to the design graduate program may choose from four different tracks, including the graphic design track.
