The Master of Project Management will give you the skills and knowledge to successfully manage complex projects in the modern world. You'll learn to plan, prioritise and manage teams and resources for large and small scale projects whilst overcoming challenges and mitigating risks. 

This master's degree will give you the tools to efficiently and effectively manage projects across any industry.

Through practical placement experience in the second year of study, you'll have the opportunity to put your learning into practice and develop skills in adaptability and leadership. Professional experience includes 300 hours of professional practice related activity, which may include virtual or online activity.

Practical experience

  • You will complete a minimum of 300 hours of work placement (professional experience) over 12 weeks.

What will I study?

  • The course consists of core units, placement and elective units. The core units of this course will teach you project management concepts and skills. In the second year of study, the students will have a placement unit to prepare them for professional practice.

Course structure
The course stresses the importance of theory and the application of theory in practice through projects and practical exercises.

  • A candidate must successfully complete units totalling 160 credit points (cp) as detailed below. All units are valued at 10 credit points unless otherwise indicated.
