Join us at Waterman House Cookery School for a morning of bread making. At this class our chef will guide you through the tips and techniques to make great tasting bread in your own home.
At this cookery class we will make:
Focaccia
White Loaf Bloomer
Walnut and Honey Loaf
James Street Wheaten Loaf
Pizza dough with a tomato topping.
This class lasts approximately 4 hours with plenty of time to bake and sit back and enjoy your tasty delights. It also includes a recipe pack to take home.
We offer a range of day and evening cooking classes for all ages and abilities. Each class will teach you the skills they needed to make delicious dishes that can be prepared quickly or in advance to be enjoyed with family and friends at home.
Our classes are informal and relaxed, but well structured and feature a mix of demonstration and hands-on cooking. At the end of most classes you will sit down together to enjoy the food that has been cooked along with a glass of wine, coffee or tea.
Our two day class will give us the time needed to make our very own bread.
The course is split into two lessons/sessions. The first session is curry making (make one each) followed by bread making.
Sourdough Baking Class course is offered by South Downs Sourdough.
Our bread-making class is a haven for learning all types of bread.
We will begin with our sourdough starter. You will learn how to make it from scratch, how to maintain it and also keep alive! We will then bake delicious loaves and a fougasse (a pretty looking bread from south of France).
