Pre School ballet are some of my favourite classes to watch, there is just so much joy in music & dance. With the beautiful guidance of Miss Karli this class is specially designed to encourage imagination, confidence with movement & social groups, cognitive development as well as physical but most importantly a joy of dance.
These classes are based on our Saturday classes
DanceWorks Studios is located in the center of Palmerston North. Since 2011, we have inspired our students to excel while gaining a love and respect for our art form. Although we expect high standards, it can still be done in a kind and caring way so students enjoy class while achieving results.
Whatever your goal is in dance, whether for fun or with the endeavor to work professionally in the industry of dance, we have the talented teachers to get you there, providing you with professional, caring, creative, and qualified teachers.
Convenience for parents is a top priority of ours, we welcome you to use the common room and parent waiting areas. With all four studios under the same roof we can provide all our lessons in the same building meaning you don't have to cart children from one studio to the next for the different genres of dance.
Our newly created Preschool Classes – Mini Risers  are fun, short movement-based classes that will encourage your little ones to move to the music and learn basic dance techniques and exercises.
Children learn from a young age how music, movement, dance and their imagination can be combined to tell a story and convey emotions.
Our full time junior class is a twice-a-week commitment providing students with all three styles of commercial dance.
These classes are designed for introducing 3 and 4-year-olds to basic dance movements. These include but are not limited to hopping, skipping, galloping, jumping and turning.
Children are encouraged to wear either bare feet, or ballet or jazz flats.
