By the end of the workshop participants will be able to identify the roles of the chair, participant and minute taker, identify how to prepare for and contribute, or lead, an effective meeting, understand the purpose of minutes and notes and what the recipient expects from them, use techniques for ensuring notes and minutes are easily understood, turn notes into a written document, know what to put in and what to leave out, and overall how to present their written material well, including punctuation and spelling.

Paul has over thirty years of experience working in the insurance industry. Paul founded London Market Training in March 2012. He is responsible for the running of the business.
His extensive knowledge of the insurance industry (which includes operational level expertise in the running of an insurance service provider) enables him to design and oversee the delivery of all of our courses.

Lucy Crayk
Director
After spending 10 years in the Voluntary Sector and a further 8 years within UPS as an HR Specialist, Lucy joined London Market Training in 2022 to deal with the accounting side of the business. She is responsible for payroll, managing customer accounts, processing invoices, payments and resolving customer accounts enquiries.
