About the course
Congratulations, you've found your way to Montreal’s favourite baking school, and life is about to be a little bit sweeter! We're all about hands-on workshops in small groups with tips, tricks, and lots of goodies to take home!
Here at the LAB (because we're experimenting all the time, see?!), everyone from beginner to advanced bakers are welcome; you can learn the basics or add to your impressive recipe repertoire.
Group parties, private, and kids classes also available. Come for the finger lickin’ food, the fun of meeting new people, the kitchen tips and tricks, and the amazing memories.

You will learn about the different types of flour, the types of yeast, baking, kneading, storing and growing. You will make white bread, country bread and ciabatta bread
Yeast has certain requirements that it needs in order to help ‘rise’ your dough. This class will give you an excellent understanding of things like; Moisture, food for yeast, temperature, acidity, and time.
You knead to take this class! This Bread Making 101 class focuses on the theory of Sourdough breads; from starters and feeding to shaping and baking, this course covers it all!
Bring a little sparkle into your world with this delicious solstice inspired Star Bread. Fresh yeast and a variety of sweet fillings will make this uniquely shaped bread the "star" of any table! Roll up your sleeves and dive into this hands on workshop.
Classes will be limited to 6 people for mixed classes. Once you have made the food if you want to pack up your food you can do so with the containers provided and take home.
